Ingredients
Peach Filling
2 pounds of Frozen Peaches or 1 (29 oz) canned peaches
3/4 cup of white sugar
4 teaspoons of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of nutmeg
Cobbler Topping
1 1/4 cups of all purpose flour
3/4 cups of white sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/4 cup of whole milk
1/2 of 1 egg (beaten)
4 tablespoons of unsalted butter (cold)
Turbinado/Raw sugar (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees (F)
Prepare peach filling, by adding frozen peaches to a glass baking dish. Add dry ingredients and gentle fold. Leave resting.
Next, prepare the cobbler topping. In a large bowl whisk the dry ingredients until no clumps are visible.
Then, add the whole milk and beaten egg. Using a spatula or pastry cutter, carefully incorporate the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until the mixture resemble a wet crumble.
Add the cobbler topping on top of the peach filling and then sprinkle cold cubes of unsalted butter. For extra crunch, add some raw sugar/turbinado sugar on top of the butter.
Bake for 45-50 minutes and then cool for 15 minutes.
